Perks of the Job

Well, since I've been cookin' in my little oven a lot of things have changed for me. There are ALL SORTS of perks annnnd not so perky things about making babies and I am learning A LOT, maybe more than I bargained for on this journey. Buttttt I have to believe that all of this grief and craziness (that's right I get crazy) is going to pay off when my sweet little Baby is in my arms.

I recently read this awesome book given to me by the one and only Amanda Schiller called Baby Laughs. I recommend this book to anyone who is pregnant, knows anyone pregnant, wants to someday be pregnant, or even if you're done having children READ IT! I laughed so hard as Jenny McCarthy (yes, the CRAZY former playmate) shared ALL of the struggles in pregnancy. Let me just tell you she shares EVERYTHING! From what's going on in her head to what's going on with her vagina! It is definitely a great great book. (It also makes you feel SO SO SO much better that your head probably isn't screwed on as straight as it was pre-pregnancy).

On the subject of being a little discombobulated, I have been a little out-of-sorts for a couple weeks now doing typical things like forgetting what I am saying or about so say mid conversation.... but yesterday I noticed that I might not even be noticing (haha) how really out of it I am. I was in the shower and realized I had been in there for a long time because the water started getting cold and I was the first person to shower for the day! OOPS. I not only washed and conditioned my hair two times but I also washed my body (at least) twice! What a dork. It's little things like this that make me wonder what I don't notice I'm doing.

Tomorrow we get to hear little Baby's heartbeat :)
